As a counselor for the past 20+ years, I have become uniquely qualified to meet the college and career-related needs of colleges, high schools, and individuals.  Whether you are a family or individual in crisis or a high school or student in need of guidance on issues pertaining to the college application and financial aid process, the "College Counselor" can bring clarity to often extremely complicated issues.   

Services

School-Wide Services

  • Faculty workshops on the admissions and aid process.
  • Development of school-wide college application and aid programs.
  • Individual student assistance with career, college applications, scholarships, and financial aid.
  • Student forums on the above topics.
  • In class presentations or Q&A with students.
  • PSAT and/or SAT presentations for students.

Individual In-Person Services

  • Provide all of the school-wide services to individuals at your home or a location of your choosing (5 Boroughs and Long Island)..  
  • College Essay and Personal Statement assistance.
  • Common Application Assistance.
  • FAFSA and CSS Profile Assistance.
  • College search service, including spreadsheets listing recommended choices and likelihood of getting accepted.
  • Assistance with EOP, H/EOP, and SEEK.  
  • Scholarship application and search assistance.
  • Assistance with Questbridge, Gates Millennium, Posse, and other National Scholarship Competitions.
  • Career/Major advice.  Find majors and/or careers that are a good fit.  Assist with career inventories and assessments. 
  • Social-Emotional Counseling for adults and teenagers.

Individual Remote Services

  • If you are not able to meet with me in-person, all of the listed services can be performed remotely via phone, Zoom, Meet, Skype, or Facetime.
  • For international students let me be your eyes and ears on the ground here in America.  I can act as your representative in America and meet with admissions representatives in person for you..  I can also assist you with finding the right fit and understanding the American University system.
